I provide psychotherapy services to a wide range of clientele presenting with various issues, including those listed below. You will find a list of links to various diagnosable mental
health conditions in the mood and anxiety categories. Although formal assessment should be done with a mental
health professional, you may follow the links below to learn more about the
nature and general treatment approaches to these conditions.
Keep in mind that you do not necessarily need to meet specific diagnostic criteria to benefit from psychotherapy. Also keep in mind that no approach to treatment looks exactly the same. I have training and clinical experience using multiple approaches, which enables me to develop highly individualized treatment plans to meet your needs. If you are curious about potential directions we might take in therapy, please give me a call. I am passionate about what I do, and it would be my pleasure to discuss treatment options, potential referrals, or answer any other questions you might have about therapy.
I describe my therapy orientation as integrationist. You are likely to experience my approach in the therapy room as highly collaborative and relational.
My integrationist orientation includes elements from the following schools and practices of psychotherapy: emotion-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, schema therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, play therapy, mindfulness, and certain aspects of psychodynamic therapy. For marital/couples therapy specifically, I typically integrate Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. I also offer a PREPARE/ENRICH couples assessment for both premarital and married couples. Again, I am happy to speak with you further about these approaches.
For those seeking a more faith-based approach to therapy, I am comfortable with and trained in the integration of Christian theology and spirituality into your treatment plan.
Testing and Evaluation: I also provide formal psychological testing and evaluation for adults, which can include general diagnosis/personality testing, cognitive abilities and achievement testing, or both. These services include clinical interviewing, records review, testing administration, a written report, and a feedback session. Please contact me for additional information.
